Under Options --> Events... Under events lists filters, I have event dates set to "all dates of each event". AND when I look at the schedule on the website - www.tammytrent.com/index.php/tour-dates - it DOES show each date for each event. HOWEVER, it only shows them in descending order...and that won't work for me. I need to have them showing in ascending order... so the dates that are coming up first need to be at the top.

And I don't see any place where I can change the order.

Under Event Details on Options --> Events, I DO have Order by Dates set to "dates ascending" - however, that's not making any difference...

Hello,

It's a strange issue, as when selected ascending, and filtering Upcoming events, it should display in the other order than the one you have on your website...

But, i've seen that you are a Pro user, so could you open a Pro Ticket on Pro website (you may have received connexion info and url in a notification email). ;-)
Open the ticket in private, so that you can grant me a super user access, and i can then check what is the issue (and help you to solve it!)

Best Regards,
Cyril

Hi!

First, it could be better to update! (the latest version is 3.3.5-1)

Then, after changing the option, make sure you have empty cache, as if you have cache activated, you may not be able to view the change in a short time.

But, make sure you have set this option in the options of the menu, not in iCagenda! (this was the error of the other user, and i'm working to make it much clear, as thanks to heart0 i have detect a logical possible issue in understanding well the global option).

In fact, it next major release, i will do a few changes to prevent a possible mistake between 2 ordering option not related.
So that's why make sure your are using the ordering option if the menu! ;-)

Keep me informed!
Regards,
Cyril

Hi Cyril

I've upgraded to the latest version before i posted the question. Not sure what happened, my page is not able to load anything (blank page) and i thought its related with jquery or any plugin, so i did google and installed fast jquery plugin but, nothing change. So, my workaround is to rollback to the current version and my page is returned.
I need to work on the menu side. will keep posted the result.

Hi Cyrill

Yeap. I need to refresh the cache and adjust the sorting in the menu itself and its worked!
Thanks a lot. Btw, if you can review my comment as above -- updated to new version but my page is not working. Thanks a lot.

Hi!

You mean your issue is solved (was due to cache ? ) ?

not exactly,
1. reconfigured the sorting in the menu option, saved. refresh.. nothing happen.
2. refresh joomla cache, refresh page. the sorting is worked.

Thanks kroll for you're feedback, and having sharing the solution to your issue with the community!

Cyril
