[SOLVED] Custom fields was created by Brazen
Hi,
My understanding is the you can not create custom fields in registration or events in the free version. And that to get this feature you need to upgrade to Pro
IS that right.

I want to add drop down fields, check box fields and comment fields in the registration page.

I also see that you do not support payment. Do you know when this will happen?

No worries - but I would like the customer to be redirected to a payment page on "Submit" Is this possible?

Looking forward to your confirmation before I upgrade.

In the free version (3.4.0.1) you can add extra fields for registration.

Thanks - and one last question, In creating a drop down list, What is the marker in the "options" box to differentiate between options,

I have tried , ; ; and carriage return but none of these create the list of options.

Thanks for your help.

Hi!

As @cortooms said, you have first to create your custom fields in the admin.

You have the link in the joomla submenu, and as an icon in the control panel.

Your list will be empty first, so just click on "new" to create yoru first custom field.

TO have info, hover with your mouse on label of each field, to get useful info ;-)

Regards,
Cyril

Thanks very much:

two more questions:
Can we create different custom fields for different events?
And can we send a person to a specific URL when they hit "Submit"?

You're welcome! ;-)

About custom fields, i will work soon on a filter option by category (to display a custom field only if event is in the selected category(ies)). Not yet developped.

About the url routing after submit, this is not yet implemented, but it is in my todo list as for Submit an Event form (don't know yet when i will add this option, but i've planned many improvements for registration system in the 3 months to come, so will add new things in each version to come! ;-) )

I think it answers your message too @cortooms :-)

Cyril
