Is it possible to set this option in frontend?

Hello,

You mean in the Submit an Event frontend form ?

If yes, check the file submit.xml in site/models/forms and add the field used for it in ADMIN/models/forms/event.xml into the "params" fieldset.

The fields for target are :

				type="modal_iclink_type"
				label="COM_ICAGENDA_REGISTRATION_LINK_LBL"
				description="COM_ICAGENDA_REGISTRATION_LINK_DESC"
				labelclass="control-label"
				default=""
				/>
			<field
				name="RegButtonLink_Article"
				type="modal_iclink_article"
				label=" "
				class="inputbox"
				/>
			<field
				name="RegButtonLink_Url"
				type="modal_iclink_url"
				label=" "
				class="inputbox"
				/>

Not tested, but should work without too much changes.
