Link to component not visible in back end was created by dougt

The link to the component is no longer visible in the components drop down list. Everything is accesable from the front end but can not get access to the control panel in the backend.

Running Joomla! 3.4.0

Hello dougt,

This is weird, because i see no reason for that, excepted if the component is unpublished, or the datbase was edited (and link removed).

Do you have a screen shot of the admin menu for components, when opened ?
