There's no override of the Joomla modal windows in iCagenda.

The fact that modals don't work is not related to iCagenda code, but maybe to another conflict (script or css conflict...)
In all cases, iCagenda is not using modals in frontend directly, and when modals is used, it's joomla core modal.

Could you provide a link on where you have a modal issue, and in which way you use modal ?
