Hello:

We are considering purchasing icagenda but are having a couple problems
1. The time choice is to have either a 12 or 24 hour. But the 12 hour does not work.

2. When submitting an event, when the use clicks on the time/date, the dialog box shows up very high on the screen sometimes hiding the calendar. The user can only see the time. Not sure I can adjust as I assume this is a jquery or javascript call.

3. When a user submits an event, and want to add the google map, there is an Address, City and Country input box.
a. This might be confusing to some as there are often multiple cities with the same name in different States.
b. The user seeing the City input box may not enter the full address in the Address box thinking the should continue to the City input box. I can see that the user can add the full address in the Address input then select from the addresses being shown from Google. Some people might get confused about this. Not a deal breaker but think there should either be instructions or remove the City box.

WEBSITE/PAGE: 209.59.169.170/~dlassoc/index.php/events...own-loveland/event-i

Thank you for your assistance. I think your program is really nice and we are considering it also because of its ACYMailing integration.

Hello,

1. The time choice is to have either a 12 or 24 hour. But the 12 hour does not work.

After looking at your website, it's working...

2. When submitting an event, when the use clicks on the time/date, the dialog box shows up very high on the screen sometimes hiding the calendar. The user can only see the time. Not sure I can adjust as I assume this is a jquery or javascript call.

This may come from your site template, declaring a too hight height on div (or body)...

3. When a user submits an event, and want to add the google map, there is an Address, City and Country input box.
a. This might be confusing to some as there are often multiple cities with the same name in different States.
b. The user seeing the City input box may not enter the full address in the Address box thinking the should continue to the City input box. Not a deal breaker but think there should either be instructions or remove the City box.

I've planned to change the design of Google Maps, and to add new options in 3.6.0 (dev start in June).
But, today, you just have to enter the complete address, and use auto fil from Google Api, to select the good address.
In general, you don't have to change city or country, as it is auto-filled depending of the location on the map.
But i agree that it could be improve, and that what i want to do for next major release 3.6.0 (3 months of development planned for this summer).

Thank you!
Regards,
Cyril

Thank you Cyril.
Regarding the time, I think I understand now. The time shows properly in the event. When submitting an event the user sees the 24 hour slider. I thought that when I switched to the 12 hr that the slider in submitting an event would change too. No problem.

Regarding the styling of the calendar, I will look at adjusting the style. It seems that the template is dynamically changing this based on screen size so my guess is perhaps I can use a percentage.

I appreciate your assistance.

Regards,
Channing

You're welcome!

About datetime picker, i'm currently using a third party library to generate it, but i've planned later to improve it to be able to add am/pm and in the same time, to be more multi-languages friendly ;-)

Keep us informed about your site template, could be useful for other users ;-)

Cyril
