hello all-
I have been playing off and on for months with ICagenda and really like it. But I have run into a problem and I hope it is just something I am not seeing. I run a Scouting website and we have many groups. I would like to be able to have each group sign up for occasional special events through the registration function. I successfully had a test form and convinced some other Scout leaders to try this. Then I found my problem. The registration (Register For This Event ) button shows up in every date and a required field in the custom form I created for the test demands to be filled in. yes, I can turn off the button but then a real form would not be available when I need it.
Can I have a registration button appear on, say, two out of ten dates and on each of those two dates can I direct people to a different registration for a different event?
Thanks,
Derek

Hello,
Not possible today (without special hack of code) to allow to use custom fields only for a selected list of events (currently, one custom field is for all registration forms).
But, this is one of the improvement i'm working on for the 3.6.0 release, currently in development.
Unfortunately, i don't have an official date for release, as still a lot of work to do (but already a lot is done!).
So, maybe the first alpha 1 for Pro Users in 1 month, and then, depending of all testing, feedback, and alpha 2/3 addtionnal features, it could be ready by the end of the year! (i hope!)
Best Regards,
Cyril
Note: if you have a minimum knowledge in php/html i can maybe give you a custom code to apply in an override view of the registration page (joomla override).

My apologies for taking so long to reply. It has been an incredibly busy time.
I have talked to the otehr Scout leaders and we think we can get by with things as they are. Thank you again for a terrific product!

But this will be possible in 3.6.0 (so, by the end of the year...)
Have a great day!
Best Regards,
Cyril
