Hi i am using Joomla 3.4.4 and iCagenda 3.5.12

When i select an event from the event list, i see the selected date on the detail page. Like this

Date 2015-11-01 16:00

But when i click register, the date dropdown just has the first date of this recuring event selected

2015-10-18 - 16:00 <-- this one is selected
2015-10-25 - 16:00
2015-11-01 - 16:00 <- this one should be selected
2015-11-08 - 16:00

this way visitors might select the wrong date.

EDIT I am using 'Search Engine Friendly URLs' so that might be a problem when the component tries to read the date from the URL

Greetings,
FuZZbaLL

Hello,

So, first, this is a "normal" behavior today.
But, this is something that will be improved in 3.6.0 (already coded for this improvement, by seleting the clicked date for registration form ;-) )

Thank you for your patience, still a lot of work on 3.6.0, but i hope to release this one as stable before Christmas, with many new things and improvements! ;-)
(for info: pro users will have access previously to pre-releases beta versions)

Best Regards,
Cyril

Hi,

One, good to know it will be fixed, although i have decided i will link directly from my article to the registration form so this isn't a problem for me anymore. Also this fixes the translation issue i am having, since the event details will be in my default joomla article.

Or is there a reason i should not do that? I do realize I will have to change the mail template as well.

Greetings,
André

All depend of what you want to achieve, and how you want to manage the registration... B)
