I am using iCagenda free version and have created a menu for current and upcoming events by selecting Filter by Date in Icagenda Options tab. In the same tab under Display - Category Information I have selected Yes and my created categories have shown above all the events in the menu. But they are not clicable ???

Is it possible to show all events, but with possibility to filter them. I don't want to create separate menus for each category, but to list all events in same menu and have some filtering option (es. dropdown list) to filter by category, month and sim.

I am sending a screenshot of the current situation and from another component as example what I want to accomplish.

If this is possible please write me how I can do this.

Thank you

Hello,

This is something that is already developped in 3.6.0-alpha1 (currently on dev/testing period, and available for Pro Users). ;-)

A screen shot of frontend list :

In "more" there are already filter by category, year and month. Other filters will be added in the future (custom fields filter, features, city, country...)
All this with options for filter to be displayed and filters ordering! ;-)

Don't yet have a date for a stable release (free and pro) as currently solving all bugs and issues found by testers with the full new frontend structure. Development is longer than i thought, but in the good way! ;-)

Best Regards,
Cyril

Hello!

The documentation for new features is not yet ready, but i'm currently working on it, now that 3.6.0 is released! ;-)

So, to activate and set up the frontend Search Filters, go the Global Options of the component, and then in the "List" tab, where you will find the options and settings for filters ;-)

Hope this helps ?

Best Regards,
Cyril
