[SOLVED: site template not J3 compatible!] Google maps doesn't works with ALLROUNDER 3 template was created by dadep

Hello,
I'm setting up a little website with free ALLROUNDER 3 template. I've installed latest iCagenda and all is working except google maps only in frontend (in the backend, during the event creation, the map is correctly displayed in accordance with the entered address.
I have also tried to selectively disabled all modules and plugin, without luck.
Joomla versione is 3.5.1
The template download link is www.joomla.it/template/7049-allrounder-3_v1-0.html (I have also attached it to this post)
and my website is 95.87.126.20/index.php

For information, I have another joomla 2.5 website with iCagenda 2.1.14 and ALLROUNDER 1.6 template, and iCagenda maps are working.

Hello,

There's many issue with your site template, but you are too using an old version 2.5 of Joomla...

But first of all, try to disable the css and script compression, as this one is not working well (and empty cache after disabling the option).

Note too that your site template seems for Joomla 1.6... a very old version...
The issue is your site template with Google maps css, which are not loaded from iCagenda files, but from Google Maps API.

thanks for your reply, but it doesn't help me because I'm not a developer (I try to basicly setup a simple website with joomla extensions).
The strange (for me) is that on the joomla 2.5 website iCagenda maps are working, but not on the new website.
If you can point me to the right direction, I can try to modify something in order to test iCageda maps.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but i have already answer you that issue may be with your site template.

What i told you just before does not need to be a developer, but to check options of your site template, and if one option is to disable the css compression ;-)

In case you don't find it, better to contact the site template developer, as i don't know how this one works, and don't have time to check and tests all site templates that exist in the market!
All i could do was to check your site online, and see that there was issue with your site template, a css compression, and Google Maps. (nothing related directly to iCagenda...)

But i recommend you to check options of site template, and if you can't find the option to contact its developer or check if a documentation on how to disable css and script compression on your site template.

But for sure, i will recommend you to ugrade your site template, and if no update availabel, to change your site template, as your site template is NOT well coded for JOOMLA 3! (so, that's maybe why this one works only on Joomla 2.5).
