[SOLVED] Problem with counting on events details was created by Fido vel Fidel
Hi everyone,
I have a problem with counting on events detail.
I have event who have 2 terms in one day. I set number of seats to 20. People can book max. 5 seats in registration form and they have to chose date. Everything works great, but when you go to event details you can see Number of seats: 20 and Available seats: -7 (I attach print screen)

Do you know perhaps why this is happening? I set something wrong? Please help ;)

Reagrds

P.S.
This is in polish:
Ilość miejsc -> Numebr of seats
Miejsca dostępne -> Available seats

Hello,

Could you confirm that you use the latest stable release 3.5.18 ?

Is it possible to have an online link, to be able to view issue, and settings ?
Even if settings are wrong, this should not happen. But i've already fixed a few issues by the past, and a lot of improvements are coming with the new frontend structure of 3.6.0 ;-)

So, that's why iCagenda version and link could help to identify how you could correct this ;-)

Regards,
Cyril

Hi!

Yes, i see the reason ;-)

So, you have set the "Registration Type" option (in event edition > registration tab) to "Select list of dates".
That means (if that's correct and what you want) that you have 20 tickets available for each date.

But in the menu option to the list of events, you have set the option "Display all dates" on "No" (or it is set on "Use Global" and in global options of component, it is set to "No").

Set this option in the menu option on "Yes", so that it will separate the event in 2 individual events (then the count will be good for each date (currently 5 tickets left for one date, and 7 for the other date).

Note: in 3.6.x series, with a lot of refactory, i will improve all controls and checking of settings, to be sure the display is correct even if an issue in settings ;-)

Hope this helps ?

Best Regards,
Cyril

Hi,
It helps, thx ;)

I have other question it is possible to show hours on the event list? Now it shows all events terms.

example:
It is one event at Monday with two terms (different hours). On the list shows two events (it's ok) but on the list shows only dates, category, event name, event place and event city. It is possible to shows event hour?

my list (click)

Sebastian

The date and time are displayed in the ic_rounded theme pack, but you can too set the option to display time in the box date of the default theme pack.
This option is in global options of component > List tab > Box date options ;-)

Hope this helps ?
