Since 3 weeks ago that one of my coleagues complains about a problem showing current events.

At first I think my problem as related with this post www.joomlic.com/forum/icagenda-help-en/3...r-module-not-updated , but I wait for the release and tested and the problem remains.

From my analysis, the problems is that the field next in table _icagenda_events is not being updated.

If I access the backoffice and saved again the event, the table field is updated and the event displaed correctly.

I liked to asl how and where the field is updated, to check my server.

I'm assuming that the field _icagenda_events .next needs to contain the next date for an event.

System Info: Icagenda 3.6.3, Joomla 2.5.28, CentOS 6.8, MySQL 5.1.73 and PHP 5.5.38.

Hello,

Yes you assume well, but i didn't check the issue of next date not updated in frontend module (which was fixed in 3.6.3) on a Joomla 2.5 site...

Question how do you check yourself this issue ? It is just after midnight ? If yes, is your timezone is correctly set in Joomla configuration ?

Best Regards,
Cyril

Hi Lyr!C. Thanks for the response.

I checked this, around 10 AM. For example, today, because no ones saved the event again (to refresh the current date), the event shows the date of 21/10/2016 (last friday).

If I access the database, the field next in table _icagenda_event as the value "21/10/2016" and after we updated the event, the value stored is from the next time for that event (or today, if event is ocurring).

My question is where/how that field is periodic updated, assuming that fields needs to store the next event time (or current day, if the event is ocurring).

For me, what is not working is the update for this field.

Well,

So, just update to the latest iCagenda 3.6.4 ;-)

As if not, there was an issue before with next update in the calendar module!

Note: in component views, since 3.6.0, next is not used anymore. And it's planned to be full removed from database in version 4.0.0 (only kept there for possible B/C issue, but the evolution of iCagenda won't use anymore in core the "next" value from database).

Best Regards,
Cyril
