You're not the first person to ask me the question, and i'll will put the notice, and this information for a next release.

So :

You must have at least one link to iCagenda in a menu-link for this to work.
The module is an extension of the component, but does not work if it is not declared.

Little tip, if you do not want to display a link to the calendar in your main menu, you can create a special menu separated in a fictitious position (eg position-icagenda) and so, the module will return to the pages of this menu.

Note : For module event open box, it works on left position for the moment, but there will be soon an option to make it work on the right position. For that, you need to change the value in "template_name"_fonction.js in the template you use.
