[SOLVED] How to extend a custom field default lenght? was created by 3zekiel

Hi,
I need much more characters capacity in "text" type of custom field.

So, I did it by myself. You need to change in database type from varchar(255) to your desired one.

Hello,

Thanks for this feedback.
For information (and this maybe what you need ;-)

), i will see to add "textarea" as one of the new field types i will integrate in next 3.7.0 serie.

So it will be then easier to have long text (which is not easy with a single text input).
