Is it possible to create an event that repeats every week at the same start and finish time?

Hello,
Today, you can use the period options.
For example, if you want an event each monday from 10:00 to 12:00, and during 3 months, you can set like this :
- start date : 2017-07-24 10:00:00
- end date : 2017-10-30 12:00:00
- select weekday Monday
Then, the period will be divided in single dates, each monday during the period, and from 10 to 12h.
To display each one on the main list of events, just set the menu option "Display all dates" on "Yes".
Hope this helps ?
Best regards,
Cyril

Yes that's fine.
Is there a way to create an indefinitely repeating event with no finish date?

Hello,
Is there a way to create an indefinitely repeating event with no finish date?
This will be part of the new options and possibilities of the future dates system, planned for 4.0.0
So, no yet, but in the future! (4.0.0 development is already started, but still a lot to do before to integrate this new system. But already a lot done in latest 3.5, 3.6 and upcoming 3.7 serie to prepare this integration
)
Best regards,
Cyril

In the same idea, is it possible to delete ONE event in the series? So I have a recurring meeting that occurs every friday, I set a startup date and an end date but, this Friday, it won't be possible. Any way of removing only THIS Friday?
Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately, not possible today...
But it's one of the many new options planned for iCagenda 4.0, which will introduce a full new dates system (not expected to be ready before next year).
Best regards,
Cyril

Hi Cyril
When developing iCagenda 4.0 can you include the ability to do repeats, e.g. First 'Friday' of the month, or a specific date each month, e.g. 3rd of the month etc.
Thanks
Malcolm

Hello Malcom,
Yes, many options will be added, for the most flexibility as possible!
Due to many developments in process, 4.0.0 development will start next year.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Cyril

Hello,
Not possible in current version of iCagenda.
A new dates system is planned for next year and version 4.0.0, so much more possibilities will be added at this time!
Best regards,
Cyril
