[SOLVED] Privacy matters was created by Rianne
Hi,

I have a few questions about privacy matters on my website.

1. I see there is a possibility to add Terms and conditions to an event. Is it also possible to add a field in the registration form that has to be set to yes, otherwise you can't click the button Register?

2. Is it possible to automatically delete the registrations of an event, for exammple 60 days after the event has been held?

Thanks in advance! Kind regards Rianne

Hello,

1. I see there is a possibility to add Terms and conditions to an event. Is it also possible to add a field in the registration form that has to be set to yes, otherwise you can't click the button Register?

With terms options, you have a required check box to agree terms ;-)

If you want a specific radio button like "No/Yes", you can create one custom field of type radio, and to set options like this :
=NO
YES=YES
With no "value" for NO option.

And then, set this field as required.

By default, the selected bouton will be "NO", and the user will have to set it on "YES" to be able to validate and submit the form.

Hope this helps ?

2. Is it possible to automatically delete the registrations of an event, for exammple 60 days after the event has been held?
No such functionnality today, but could be an interresting feature for futur! ;-)

Best regards,
Cyril

Hello Cyril,

Thank you for your reply.

1. "With terms options, you have a required check box to agree terms ;-)"
Where can I find and set this?

The other option with the radio buttons sounds nice, but it doesn't really work. See attached screenprint.

2. Ok, thank you.

Hello,

Sorry for slow response...

About settings, maybe you have already found them ? (all terms settings are in dedicated tab of the Global Options of the component)

For the issue you have with radio buttons, this means your site template does not manage correctly Joomla standard radio buttons... ;-)

Hope this helps ?

Best regards,
Cyril
