Hi, my site is in 3 languages, but the iCagenda registration form is not linked together, I only have 8 spaces in one event, but not 8 spaces in each language, is there any way to do that?
If not, I was trying to set up a single form in 3 languages, but also can't find how to edit the existing labels, like for example to change "name" to NAME / VOR UND ZUNAME / NOMBRE y APELLIDO
I would highly appreciate your help, (not familiar with html)
Thank you, Johanna

Hello,
What do you mean by "space" ?
About multi-language, do you use Joomla core system, or another third party extension (falang, jdiction, ...) ?
About translation, if i visit site in other language than English, it is translated :
www.sur-walks.com/index.php/de/wanderpro...ro-tal/registrierung
So maybe first you didn't have installed iCagenda translation packs, and did it since your message on the forum ?
Best regards,
Cyril

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I had them installed and they are working, but the function like 3 different sites. Sorry, with "spaces" I meant tickets (spaces in my pick-up van) I only have 8, but so far it's like there where 8 in each language. Also, when I open an event, and click on the language flag in another one, it takes me to this language, but to the list, not within the events description. I need one registration for all languages, not 3 different ones.
I would highly appreciate some hop in this.
Thank you, kind regards, Johanna
PS: I use Falang for translations.

So, if you use Falang, it should be ok: Only 8 tickets for the event, not related to language...
Where do you have an issue ?
I need one registration for all languages, not 3 different ones.
With Falang, it is one registration for all languages...

Hi again, that is exactly the problem, it does NOT link the 3 languages, every language is like a separate page. Just try to switch languages within the event, it takes you to the language, but to the list of events, please try it our:
www.sur-walks.com/index.php/es/agenda/15...1-00-00#.W4PlY84zbGg
If you book 8 tickets, they are still available in the other languages.

JOhanna

Hi Johanna,
I see what you mean now, but it's not possible as not an item using joomla association system.
But, "If you book 8 tickets, they are still available in the other languages.", this should not be the case if you have only 1 event in database.
I can't reproduce this issue, as on my test site, using French to register all places, then in English, i can't register (even if no registration processed using en language).
Total number of registrations is per event or date depending on event setting, and never related (for what iCagenda code do) to language used to register.
But the problem you have is to have created 1 event per language. If you use Falang, you don't have too! Only 1 event to be created, and using Falang to do other translations.
That's the reason of your issue.
Hope this helps ?
Best regards,
Cyril

Hi Lyr!C,
Thank you for your answer, but though I have Falang, and it works for Articles, menus, etc, I do not have any translation options for iCagenda events. That is why I created an article in each language. Is Falang supposed to give me this option? Have you used it on iCagenda before?
Regards
Johanna

The custom elements xml files should be installed using Falang, not Joomla
