I can't find the date format in the newest version, 2.1.2

You have it in the same places as the version before.
In params of menu item, for date format in list of events, and event details view, and in options of the module, for tooltip of the calendar.
Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.8
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!

How do I change the English date text "Friday 22 March, 2013" to the Swedish "fredag 22 Mars" ?

If your front-end language is set to swedish, you have dates in Swedish...

Where do I set language in iCagenda back end?
I have set language to Swedish in Joomla/Language Manager/Installed Site
but date shows up in English.
