1.0 Unable to change Author's Name. 2.0 Add in Contact Email in custom email was created by gmmcmf

I have include 2 attachments which I have described the issue visually and are self explanatory.

You mean contact's email from the field of event edit ?
If so, yes, i will add it ;-)

(as can be not the same as author email)

Hi

This contact email should be located in Options>>Registration options>>Registration Notifications.

I am exploring the idea of using this component as a Community Calendar. Residents are allowed to post individual events that he/she is organising events a pot-luck parties, garage sales, recreation parties, open house etc etc.It will be user friendly that when the person who registered receive a notification email to automatically include the Contact email. Thanks

I will add notification emails later (as already planned), when i will work on enhancement of this function.
But in the next release (3.1.5) i'm working on (hope for today) i've just already fixe author display in admin, and have added a [CONTACTEMAIL] tag ;-)

Hi

I uploaded 3.1.6 and tested both backend and frontend.

Backend
Name change to Author is displayed correctly in Admin page.

Frontend
Unfortunately, when I tested the front end registration, the email is still defaulted to the original named Author and not the revised named Author.

I downloaded the attached beta zip and tested.It is working fine.

Now, some later enhancements may be required in the backend Registration Status.
It will be user friendly to include the Author's Name as a sorting field. Please look at attached.

Yes, you're right!

Could be a good idea.
And will add it in the next release!

But i've added it in my dev version now (for not forget!)

Tested and it is working fine.

I have attached 4 sequential self explanatory images for your future proposed enhancement. Please view in sequence order. I think you shall own a user friendly and excellent event calendar system.

Yes interresting, but the contact's email field is not the author email, as it is a field where you add email of the organizator, or owner of event, who can not be a user of your website!
This is a more info about an event, linked to the website field.

For example, if you add an event which take place in a museum. You can add the email of the museum for user you want to have extra information. This could not be the author or member of your website!

So maybe, this field is not well documented... What could perhaps be done is an option bellow, to use author email if field above empty...

Suggestions are welcome! ;-)
