I have not yet tested to install iCagenda on joomla 3.2.0 (which is a beta version of Joomla)

I will as soon as possible, to see if due to a change in Joomla code, and if so, will advice joomla team, in order not to get the same issue with joomla 3.1.3 (where many extensions where not working after this version which was not to be released, but to to some human error, was... )

Really, i don't recommend you to edit joomla core files! Not a good idea!

And what's the news from the developper of this template ? It's better to have him found a solution, as you said the problem is on joomla.org forum, and its a problem with this template ?
