About integrating video, yes you need another plugin, which allows you to integrate a video inside the description textarea.
Many Editors allow this and some plugins too.

You could find many ones on the JED : extensions.joomla.org

In fact, not really, as some are doing very different job...
To do a good selection, you should first know what do you really need :
- a full video manager which will allow a lot of possibility (component + (module) + plugin)
- a simple plugin to integrate automatically a youtube video (i know wome plugin will automatically integrate the video. You just have to copy/paste url of youtube video in your description text)
- or an editor with media manager (for example, JCE...)

When you have a more little selection of what you want and need, you can then look at the review from users on the JED (could help) or llok at the demo page.

But difficult to tell you which one to use, as it depends on many factors, and everyone has different needs...

Myself, i'm using the commercial version of JCE... (but for other reasons...) For dome task, some little plugin are already well done!
