I’m working on a small side project where I’m trying to display a lightweight word-puzzle interface inside a Joomla module. The layout is loosely inspired by those simple interactive word puzzles , where letters shift around based on user input.My issue is that Joomla’s module rendering sometimes causes the letter grid to resize unpredictably—especially when switching templates or viewing on mobile. Padding collapses, spacing breaks, and the grid occasionally overflows its container. I thought it was just a CSS conflict, but even with isolated styles, the behavior is inconsistent.Has anyone run into similar problems when embedding interactive layouts or mini-games inside modules? Is this something that should be handled through override templates, or is there a better way to “lock” the layout so Joomla doesn’t reflow everything unexpectedly?Any insight would really help—I’m trying not to hack around it unless I have to.
