Hello,
how can I create a category for two languages, or assign a category to a language?
Is that possible?

Thank You

Minago

I don't have yet added the option for a multi-language website using joomla core function.

But now, you can use Falang, and install in Falang the content elements files attached to this message ;-)
It is maybe a more simple way to manage translation ;-)

How can I install it? I always get an error:
JInstaller :: Install: The Joomla XML setup file could not be found.
Thank You

My solution is to make same categories on each language. And put events on different languages to category on proper language.

And wait for multilanguage option in icagenda. ;)

You're right, SLV, admittedly all categories will be visible, but for now it has to be.
The ideal solution would be as a component of "Sobi Pro" (Sigsiu.NET)
Sorry for my "Googleenglish"

You have to install Falang first!

The zip attached is not an install pack, but is containing 2 xml files, to be installed in content element installer inside Falang component.

For information, i'm working too on a xml to be used with jDiction ;-)

Or use A third party extension for translations, which is much more easier than core joomla system ;-)

Xml files for Falang ready, and for jDiction (really great new extension) i'm working on the xml file, and will see to integrate it directly in iCagenda.

Mr. Lyr!C
Thank you very much for your advice.
I tried falang - everything works. Thank you for your job.
But I'm focused on the core Joomla, because all the articles and other components already done on it.

It would be great if you build multilingual option into your component.
For example like this done in Joomshopping (I use it too).

Thanks.

Hello,
when you will install the languages filter in the categories? It is very urgent. I want ICagenda finally integrate it into my website, but without the filter, it is pointless. In the event of Languages filter works great! Thank you!
