Confirmation email was created by karo
Hi,

I've added some more information into the registration form.

But how can I access to them by writing the confirmation email to the user or the admin?

I've add for example an input type named title, but

"Dear[title][name],...." does not work.

Thanks for your help.

Hi!

Can you tell me which files you have modified, and what do you have edit in core files?
Are fields added in database too ?

(registration email are send from file icmodel.php, where you will find the array of [NAMES] to be replace by values. ;-)

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3

Hi,

I need some help. I've realized that when I modify the icmodel.php and add the new input into the data base, the user become a mail with the correct data, and there is also the mail for the admin - but looking in the control panel/ registrations there is no registered user. The number of registered users doesn't rise up and the users could register to the same event at the same time without a limit although i've set a limit.

I've added attributes on 3 positions:

from line 3501:
if(isset($array)) $data->vname = $array;

from line 3631:
$vname = $data->vname;

from line 3855:
'[VNAME]' => $vname,

I really don't know what to do.

I would be very happy if you help me.

Sorry for my bad english.

Thanks.

Hi,

It's not possible to help you without knowing all your changes in core files, and i won't on the forum, as it's too many time to check this!

But one question : do you have the columns added in your sql database #___icagenda_registrations ?

Be careful when doing edit (hack) in the core files, you have to have enought skill to manipulate database. And doing so, you won't be able in the future to upgrade your iCagenda...
Doing so much modification is not supposed to be supported by iCagenda, as you this way doing something else, and other developpements...

But if you don't want to update iCagenda in the future, and really need this fields now (and can't wait 2 or 3 months), you have to take care of what happens.
You have a bug, in saving data in database, and so that's why you don't see anything in admin.

Best Regards,
Lyr!C
