Google Maps error was created by vtikas

Hi to all, I have been using the icagenda free extension for a 3-4 months now and it is super! Since 2-3 weeks now I am having a problem with Google Maps. On the back end in the Google maps tab the square, where the pin is displayed for position correction, the square is blank !! (see capture.png)
Also since this has happened, on the front end new events have no google maps, while old events display the map ok !
icagenda and joomla are bot up to date. Can anyone help?

I also get this error: The PHP allow_url_fopen setting is disabled. This setting must be enabled for the copy of remote images (URL). If not, thumbnails may not be created from image url.

Maybe this help you?

Quick Fix for URL file-access is disabled Issues ( www.solo-technology.com/blog/2010/04/07/...-is-disabled-issues/ )
or ask admin to edit php.ini and set
allow_url_fopen=on

Thanks for your reply, solved the error message, but still no luck with google maps. Any ideas on that?

Finally solved it

It was a jquery issue, which I solved by using jQuery Easy plugin and enabling jquery on the backend.

Hello guys,

I have a problem with the Google Maps on the ICagenda version 3.1.13. When publishing an event the Google Map does not show. I already put a position inside the City gap.

Here is an example:

Any idea?

It does not show the registered users of an event inside the LIST OF PARTICIPANTS box neither.

Hi,

I have just found the solution. I had to update the Icalendar to the last version.

For information, today, only one volunteer is active as moderator on the forum Giusebos, doing a so great support for italian speaking!)

So, i will remove other languages forum soon, and keep only English, French (i'm french) and italian.
