[SOLVED] Doesnt work at all was created by Crazyhorse

I am obvioulsy doing something very stupid but I cannotget it to work -- glcoord.cmd-sector.com/ nothing happend on clicks.. I also cant se how to get a page of events... oh well.

Hi!

Don't worry, it's a common problem users have with Joomla 2.5, when many extensions are loading jQuery in the same time. (site template, nonumber, arisexylightbox, iCagenda...)

You main problem is mod_arisexylightbox loading a too old version of jQuery.

So, first, i recommend you to install plugin jQuery Easy, to activate it, and enable loading of jQuery 1.8 from the plugin.
This could solve many problem, but it is possible that module arisexylightbox doesn't work anymore. In this case, try to see if an update is available (because using jQuery 1.4.4, a too old version, as version used in majority on Joomla 2.5 is jQuery 1.

On Joomla 3, no such problem as jQuery is already integrated, and loading by Joomla itself!

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!

Thanks very much -- I am pleased, I suspected it was something to do with JQuery.... unfortunately I can’t at the moment get an account on Simplify your web to download JQuery Easy -- it’s not sending me the account verification email... Will let you know when I have fixed the issue. Thanks again for your very prompt and very helpful response.

Hmm simplyfyYourWeb want £$20 for jQuery Easy even thought it is advertsied as free. That isn't bad And I dont mon paying that if I was sure it woruild work . I looekd for alternatives and downloaded and installed Joomseller's jQuery Loader installed it and enabled it bity it appears to have made no difference.

Do you have tested on the right page ?

jQuery is still free (i've tested, you just need to register) and only support is for a fee (4,95$ only)

There's nothing related to jQuery Easy plugin at 20$

If trouble, don't hesitate to contact Olivier on his website, he is a very friendly man! ;-)

And if you need support, for 4,95$, you will discover that Olivier has great skills about jQuery conflict!

Thanks again for your help -- it was there but took some finding. I have installed it and set the parameters correctly, I think!, anyway the calander pop out now works and I can't yet find anything else that has stopped working.

All I know have to do is figure the registration and how to do more than just the small calander as a module of the left. The examples show a whole page but I cant find a module to do that... there is only one iCgenda module avialable which I am using for the small calender. I will experiment with the options!

Hi!

So, your jQuery is fixed thanks to the plugin jQuery Easy ? ;-)

About the whole page with list of events, you have to create a menu link.

Don't hesitate to watch the tutorial videos realized by Giusebos : www.joomlic.com/en/docs/icagenda-tutorial-videos

Those videos are about the v2 of iCagenda, but many features are the same as in the v3.
We will see to create new videos tutorial when possible!

Thanks for this -- I have got it mostly working but some of the options are not presnet -- I have bought the 12 month licence and downloaded the pro version. I am hoping that by installing this it will fix the problems. See the attached picture of what I am getting at present on the module.

Oh yes it is a strange issue...

As you have purchase a pro version, you have now an access to the pro website.
Open a private ticket there, and if you can, grant me an admin access, so that i can give you an advanced help!
