Hi,
can I add a new event without date?
I have a event, that have no date.
This event is in the future, but the right date is unknown.
The event should be anounced and listed in the future events.
If there is sufficient interests, then a date will be registered.

Hi!

All the system is based on date, so currently, it is not possible, and won't.

But, it's a good idea to be able to hide the date with an individual option and for example, replace it with a custom text! (for example, setting 1 January 2030, but replace in frontend by "Date to be confirmed")

So, i will add it in the ideas list.
Not now when i will be able to work on this feature... but thank you for your suggestion!
(the difficulty will be how to manage this event in the list, and in the modules ?!?...)

Regards,
Cyril

Hi Cyril,

this is a very good idea to hide the date and show a custom text instead. :P

My sugests for handling:
In the component there could be a filter for showing and manage such hided events.
In the list such events could be shown first and a toggle button could hide or show such events.
In the calendar module there could be a extra link below or up to calendar, which shows in the popup window all these events.
In the list module there could be a toggle button to hide or show such events.

It would be great, if you work on this feature in the near future. :woohoo:

Regards,
Frank

Thank you for your detailled idea! Great!

Not sure what "near future" is for you... but today, not possible to give you a possible date of developement. (as many many things in developement already!)

Thanks for your contribution !

Best Regards,
Cyril
