Hello crazylink!

This is not possible today. But it's something in the roadmap for end of 2014 (as many other backend developpements today in process!), and maybe will be available only for user of the Pro version.

Regards,
Cyril

Hello,

Due to my hospitalization, 2/3 months were lost for development, so the roadmap will have to be updated.

But the good new is that today, i'm ok, and working hard on code to release 3.4.0 as soon as possible! ;-)

Best Regards,
Cyril

I have been testing out iCagenda, the free version for the last couple of weeks. I was looking for an events/calendar program for Joomla 3.x the would be better than the one I have been using for several years.

iCagenda is by far better and simpler to use than all the other ones I have used or tested and was excited to get to use it. I was just about ready to pay for the Pro version.

But then I came to the user "frontend editing" issue. This is critical for the site I am going to use it on. I was very disappointed.

If this functionality is to be added by the end of the year, then I may delay the launching the site till then.

So I am rooting for it! :)

Hello,

I'm sorry, but no it won't be for 2014.

Today, you can use ACL permissions to set up an admin access only to edit own events (or all) using administrator.

Cyril

Hi

I'm just asking for an update on this. Updating an existing event in the front-end eases a lot!

Best Regards,
Reto

Hi Cyril,

any idea when it will be possible to edit events on the frontend?
And shall we have the option to make this possible for "some" users, based on their ACL-permission?

Wim
