Hi there,

Recently I buy this component, and I found it very useful. It works well out of the box on multilingual site with three different languages.

I have one simple need but can't find out how to solve it.

I do not want to show number of registered users (users that already register for event) on registration page (right upper corner of registration page, see picture in attachment). I look everywhere here on forum, try different combinations of settings on icagenda component in backend of website, but I was not successful at all. I assume that must be something very simple, but I can't find the solution.

Tnx

Hi!

With a pro version, you can use the Pro Ticket Support : pro.joomlic.com/en/support (faster to get an answer, and admin help if needed ;-) )

So, today, not yet an option (but i add it in my long todo list, as it is a good idea).
You can add a css declaration in your main template css file (often named template.css)

Add those lines :
.ic-people {display: none}
.ic-registered {display: none}

Of course, when an option will be added, no need anymore of this css override!

If you have difficulty to do this, don't hesitate to open a private pro ticket, and with an admin access, i can do this for you ;-)

Best Regards,
Cyril

This time CSS override was enough, Thank you.

In the future versions and updates, you should consider an option which will make possible to set this on event level, because I could have events that on registration page should show number of registered users, and in the same time events that should not. CSS override will not be helpful in such a case.

Thank you and best regards!

Yes, I was looking for this too.
Glad that there is this workaround.

Ik think it is important to include this functionality because we noticed that showing the number can have negative impact on the number of people registering. If the number is low, they think:" Oh wel,l there is more than enough opportunity. I do not have tot register now..."

Now that we managed to hide the number of people registered on the frontend with this workaround, I became aware that there is no substitute in the backend to see how many have registered for a particular event...

The only way now to see it for ourselves is to manually count the numbers of registrations in the backend.
Is there a workaround for this? Can I add a visible number in the overview of events in the backend?

A thing in my todo list too! ;-)

Today, if you want it in backend, it would need to edit core files, or to create an override of a view in your admin template.
Or, (but not an nice way...) you can go to newsletter page in admin, and then click on the events dropdown (you will see number of tickets booked for each event, with event title and id)... Not easy, but could help until some improvement for registration button to be done (option for number of registered users : show/hide, show when a nb of registrered users is reached, access level to view this info...)

Best Regards,
Cyril

Hi Lyric,

Thanks for the trick with the newsletter function. For the time being that helps!

Best wishes,

Lucas
