I understand that front-end event management is not and will not be available for a bit. I still would like to ask if there is a way to delete an event created in the front-end by the front-end. I love the extension, but without at least being able to delete and start over in the front-end, I do not see how I could turn event creation over to a user. I find it best to keep users out of the back-end.

Hello,
No, unfortunately, with no frontend management, no possible removal of an event from the frontend.
But, don't forget to have a look at the advanced ACL permissions admin side!
It's possible (playing a little with access levels and permissions options) to allow access to a user group only to a part of iCagenda, and this access could be only for iCagenda!
Some users already have done this settings, and it prevents a user with iCagenda events access, to have access to other part of the admin.
Best Regards,
Cyril

Hello,
I have the same need as appleton to allow a Publisher user to edit/delete an event created by the frontend interface. I understand that is not possible by the same frontend interface, ok, by I don't understand your suggestion: I saw among the ACL admin settings, and saw the Access Administration Events (which should be what I am looking for) but can't get what to expect and do after having allowed it to the Publisher group. Could you please explain the workaround you propose more widely?
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
Is it planned to create the possibility to delete entries in the frontend?
Is it in the roadmap, or maybe not?
Thx for your help!

Hello,
Yes, the frontend cancellation of a registration is in the roadmap, as well as an edit (and in fact, much more!).
All this will be for the next 3.6.x, development just started, and may take 3 or 4 months to be completed (some beta pre-releases will be available for Pro users first).
THe roadmap will be updated by the end of this week, as todo list for 3.6.x and 3.7.x is almost done.
Best Regards,
Cyril

Hello Cyril,
Great job !
It would be nice if users that submitted an event would have the possibility to make modifications afterwards.
Greetings,
Kurt

This is in the roadmap too, included in a user frontend manager (for events submitted, and registrations).
Don't know yet when i will work on all options... but i will!
Best regards,
Cyril
