So, about your Google Maps, you may be running iCagenda on a Joomla 2.5 website.

It's possible that you have a jQuery conflict issue (often the case on j2.5, so that's why it's a good idea to think about updating Joomla to 3.3, the new long term version of Joomla)

What you can do is installing the plugin jQuery easy, and enable loading of jQuery from the plugin.
Or better, upgrade to Joomla3 if your extensions are compatible (iCagenda is!) and if you have a site template ready for Joomla 3.
