Best wishes for a speedy recovery ... so you can keep improving this excellent module!
I have had to uninstall the 3.4.0-beta1 version as the 'Register' for event link is no longer displayed when that version (and I think the earlier alpha releases) is installed. The previous 3.3.8 version is installed and working fine. My site is running 'Joomla! 3.3.3 Stable [ Ember ] 25-July-2014 13:00 GMT'
PHP 5.4.32

I'm better day after day, and little by little, back to work!
About the beta1 version (as available only for Pro User) it's better to post on Pro ticket system
And this was maybe just a cache issue to be refresh due to many changes in 3.4.0-beta1!
