Hi everyone, and once again thanks for Lyr!c and Giuseppe for maintaining this helpful component.

I'm quite sure I read something similar sometime ago, but can't find the topic by searching here and there, so I will open this new one.

In the event page I can see all information listed, but under the list of all dates (which should show next events based on period or single date), the component list only hour info, but doesn't show the date.

For what I remember someone suggested to edit the template page hardcoding the date. For what I saw, the template file (in my case ic_rounded) calls two variables "EVENT_SINGLE_DATES" or "EVENT_PERIOD".

So i think it's not just a template problem, or maybe it wouldn't be solved by hardcoding the format date.

Any help?
Thank you very much in advance ;)

Alberto

Hi cyril, thanks for the reply ;)

I forgot to mention that I'm using the last version of Icagenda (3.3.8 ) with the core ic_rounded template.
I made no changes to the template, cause it's just nice as it is.

The problem appeared after the update from the previous version: in a first moment, it looks everything was OK.
PHP version is 5.4.10
MySQL 5.0.77

here is a link:
www.etinomia.org/eventi/479-etinomia-ser...ll-associazione.html

Below the Google Map you can see the date list under "Altre Date" showing only "21:00"

best regards,
Alberto

Hi,

And thanks for the link. Really a strange issue...

Could you do a screen shot of the date format option in the options of the menu, and a screen capture of the date format option, in the global options of iCagenda ?

It seems that everywhere that date format function is called, the date can't be formatted...

After screen captures, please save the menu and the global options. It could maybe solve the problem. Captures could be useful for me to check why this issue.

And, do you remember which version of iCagenda was installed before the update ?

Regards,
Cyril

Dear Cyril, thank you very much for the support.
You give me the right head-up for this!
I looked into the menu option, and no format date was selected :silly:
The same can be said for the icalendar module.
So i was able to fix this by selecting the desired format. At this point I don't think there's a problem in the module... anyway some additional info:

I was upgrading from 3.2.13 (which was not the original installation but a last update from a previous installation). Honestly I can't remember if I ever set a date format (I made this site two years ago) or if the update disabled previous settings.

Many thanks for the help again, and forgive me for the time i made spent you for this ;)

Thank you for info!

I will check my code, as since 3.2.13, i have improved the date format function, and i will improve it again.
But maybe i have forgotten an old format, in the old-to-new format conversion.

In all cases, nice that this issue is solved for you now! ;)

Best Regards,
Cyril
