Community Builder was created by Josh

Will there be any integration with Community builder in the future? For example the author displaying as a link to the user profile.

It's a good idea, but i can't tell you when it will be possible to work on it.

First, there's a lot of things in developpement...
I'm not in use with CB but i know its reputation.

For the moment i'm working to make a link with iCagenda, and Joomla users (for registration to event as example)

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!

No worries, I figure I won't have a event system for at least 6 months considering that my site is quite complex. But in the mean while I try to get the ball rolling as much as I can if you know what I mean. The registration feature is definately a important one.
