PDF export of event list was created by kotta
Hi

I'm thinking how it is possible to add PDF export to this fantastic event management system. Most of times it is enough at the event list. So i was thinking to use a pdf plugin from someone and add the code to the right php file.

Please help me where are the right place, because i tried to add it to the views/list/view.html.php but the page was empty afterwards. I think it is the right place, because i saw the "hello world" string on the top of the list when i added. Do you have any idea?

Hi Cyril,

At first i would like to say thnaks for the reply.
So i have two menus, one for creating an event and another one for listing the events. So i created a menu and selected the List of events type of iCagenda. (?option=com_icagenda&view=list) and of course i configured the right categories in the iCagenda option (default theme pack).

So finally i have a fancy list with the events, but i would like to print it without printing the whole page. So i would like to print as a PDF or export to a pdf to be able to send it.

Regards
Ko

Oh, i thought you had already a pdf export plugin, you wanted to integrate with iCagenda...

I may have misunderstood.

In fact, there's no development yet done to export a list of events (it's in the roadmap).

But if you find a plugin to export (for example joomla articles) in pdf, and you would like to use with iCagenda, you can give me the name, or attached the file, so that i can check if possible to integrate with iCagenda. ;-)

Regards,
Cyril

Hi

Yep you are right, sorry i was not so clear. Honestly i had two questions, the first is the export possibility made by you. So it is on the roadmap.

The second one (that you understand well, i tried it with another plugin) was the 3rd party PDF tool usage. I tried the phoca pdf plugin from joomla extension directory.

Ko
