After the latest update 3.3.8 the description field does not work anymore. If you put in content and click on save the field becomes empty again.
J.2.5.27 , editor JCE 2.4.3, iCagenda 3.3.8, lang=Nl (Dutch)
I use iCagenda for several years now and never had any problems.
same issue is reported 2 montha ago at #7843 but got no repley there.

Hello,
This is maybe due to a conflict with another plugin, maybe an editor one.
Do you have other button plugins in your editor ?

Thanx for replying.
I have 2 JCE plugins running. JCE-filebrowser end JCE-Mediabox. Further no button plugins in the Editor. Just standard. JCE version is 2.4.3. I disabled them but it did'nt solve the problem. The plugins are the last versions. I got a tip from #7843. He advised me to save every single entry on each tab in iCagenda. That works. When I fill in all the tabs and then save ... all tabs will be saved accept the content of the tab description.

Hello,
So, it may be not related to editor, as i'm using myself JCE.
It could be another plugin, so it could be good to test other plugins not joomla core, to find which one is giving trouble.
You can look at source code generated (right click on your browser) to see if more than one version of jQUery is loaded in the header of the html page.
You can test too, to install jQuery Easy plugin, and activate it for backend.
