Hi,
After adding an event I must everytime change the url.
If I do this I get a date + time, and something strange as url.
eg. site name / 6-2014-12-29-19-06-06 # .VKLVl_8APo.
How should I change this.
I am using joomla 3.3.6
Who can help me.

Hello,

The date/time alias is added when "all dates" selected for list of events.

It is used by iCagenda to generate the correct date from the link.
It's not possible to hide it today, and not until a new router will be added in Joomla core (and this will be only in Joomla 3).
When a new router will be available in Joomla3, i will work on its improvement. ;-)

About the #aleatory number, it is because you have activated Addthis, and enter your Addthis ID.
This is added by AddThis script to allow you to have sharing statistics.
If you don't want it, you have to remove your Addthis ID, but you won't have statistics from AddThis.

Hope this gives you the needed answer!
Regards,
Cyril

Hello Lyr!C,

I don't know if you understand my question.

An event that is created through the frontend, get the alias as date-time,
eg. sitename/6-2014-12-29-19-06-06
An event that is created in the backend,I get the correct alias.
eg. sitename/1-event

About the #aleatory number is now ok.

Oh yes, sorry!

You're right, this is a bug in the new alias generator.

I will see to fix it for next release 3.4.1 ;-)

Thank you for this report!
Regards,
Cyril
