First, i recommend you to update (tomorrow, release of 3.5.3) as many few bugs and issues reported are solved (+ a few improvements, and new options).

About addition of an event to Google calendar, this is a "Add to cal" button, which one could be activated in the Global Options of iCagenda component, in "general settings" tab.

In Add to Cal options, you can select different calendar (google calendar, iCal...)

Then, in front end, in event details view, you will have a button at top right, to send an event to Google calendar.

Sorry, there is no synchronisation functionnality with Google Calendar.
It's not really planned, as the purpose of iCagenda is not the same as other extensions already creating google calendar synchronisation to a Joomla site.

Some possibilities could be done with the help of AcyMailing and the iCagenda Acy plugin.
But not yet know if this could be automatically set, or maybe with the pro version of AcyMailing.
A good question to ask them

Inside iCagenda, it's in the roadmap to create a auto notification plugin with options, but a date for such a development is not yet set.
