Support for Custom Registration Forms was created by appleton
I just want to add my name to the list of people who need custom registration forms. Custom fields work well but are not applicable to all events. They cause confusion. If this could be expedited I would be thrilled.

Hello,

I'm sorry, i don't have really understood...

I just want to add my name to the list of people who need custom registration forms.

Could you explain about "list of people who need custom registration forms" ?

Do you mean the possibility to display a custom field only for one event ?

Regards,
Cyril

Hi Cyril, that's exactly what he means and it 100% causes confusion in my case as well, It's absolutely necessary to be able to set custom fields for specific events not for all events listed. I offer seminars (physical presence) and webinars (online) and for a big part I offer both these options so It's up to the client to decide what he prefers. But for example when he selects a Webinar which is specifically online only , he also sees the option for physical presence and that causes confusion and I have to contact the person just to make it clear or they contact me themselves and say "hey, I see both options present there, what's the deal" And I start to explain its a technical "issue" which will be sorted soon.

Please look up to this feature asap, it really is important for a lot of us IMHO.

Best regards

@Akis : You're message is clear, but not sure that appleton means exactly the same...

So, it's in the roadmap, and it will be one of the new options to be added in 3.6.0, the next major version.
The development will really start when back from J&Beyond (but already some little things done for this 3.6.0) and it will be a 3/4 months development, with pre-releases versions accessible to Pro Users (maybe the first beta for begin of July).
(in the same time, i will release a 3.5.6 when back with improvement and bug fixes, but no new options until 3.6.0 ;-) )

Best Regards,
Cyril
