Recently installed 1.2.9 for the first time on Joomla 2.5 with Beez20.
Using component only (positioned in center of page) as per default installation.
Worked fine for a few days but then icagenda seems to widen the nav column on the left (position-7).
Tried narrowing the nav column but since it is a system wide setting in position.css of Beez20 all nav columns on any other page becomes too narrow and there is content spillage on the other pages.

  • Is there a setting to tweak how wide the icagenda component should be?
  • Why is the left nav column (position-7) widening only on this page that icagenda is on.

  • Here is a URL to check it out: adventureevents.net/index.php/trail-even...alendar#.UKM-LoYSzDf

    Currently two things are happening:

    1) nav column is too wide and not obeying template rules
    2) icagenda now sitting at the bottom of the page making the page content look blank.

    Any help would be welcome.

Seems to be a css conflict with your tab menu style of beez20.

Will have a look at it next week, as i'm away this week. ;)

As matter of interest, when iCagenda is uninstalled via the Extensions menu in the backend of Joomla, does it uninstall everything related to iCagenda?

Reason for the question is this. I did uninstall and reinstall the component once. If this has caused a glitch, what do I need to do in Phpmyadmin to fully remove iCagenda and then reinstall it?

When uninstall iCagenda, it uninstall component (not the module)

But don't worry, i don't think that is the problem, so i will have a look ;-)

I've just done tests on my website, and no problem with beez_20...

Have you changed something in templates ? (beez_20 and/or iCagenda themes)
When problem appear, have you install an other module (as social one) ?

Just restored an original copy of position.css. iCagenda sitting where it is meant. I resized the sponsor list so it fits but the component is still widening the nav column, though not as noticeable. It is doable for now. Thanks Lyr!C.

Got two problems with this though.

  • Is there a way to adjust the width of the iCagenda component on the page? it is too wide for the page.
  • Also, I inserted a poster for the event but don't see the thumbnail in the individual event list (is the image supposed to layer underneath the date)

  • As shown here: extensions.joomla.org//components/com_mt...listings/m/42417.jpg

To have the picture thumb under the date, you have to select "ic_rounded" theme, in your menu-link options.

There are 2 possibilities in theming iCagenda : menu-link and module calendar.
And you can select them separatly, and different.

In the future version of iCagenda, we'll work on better themes for iCagenda, and you will be able to create your own theme package, by modifying one that already exist.
