Problem with date at thumbs was created by Wuz
Hi @ all,

I have some problems with the image of an event. The date of the event is displayed with the ending "UTC00". I know, that UTC is the universal time, but I want to remove this ending from my pictures. Is this possible?

Yeah, here is my online-link: entwicklung.handball-waldkraiburg.de/index.php/kalender

I'm using the german language pack.

Can you help me? :)

Hi,

This is a weird issue, as i'm not able to reproduce it, and don't know how this one could happen...

Could you test by editing a line in the file : ROOT/administrator/components/com_icagenda/utilities/events/events.php

Line 193 :
Replace this :
$year_date			= JHtml::date($date, 'Y');
by this :
$year_date			= JHtml::date($date, 'Y', null);

Regards,
Cyril

Ok, so the issue is elsewhere...

THe line you have uncommented is a basic php date function (not taking language or timezone into account).
I have changed it to JHtml::date to use Joomla core function, and so, to be able to convert it in the current culture (for example, in Jalali calendar used with Persian language, JHtml::date will convert to the correct year, but not the commented line).

If you have the timezone when using Joomla core function to format a date, you must have an issue somewhere...
If you display year in the date format selected option, do you have the same issue ?

Best Regards,
Cyril
