Hi
I would like to edit the 'notification email to administrator' so that the subject line is automatically created from event fields [STARTDATE] AND [NAME]
Could you tell me how to do this?

Many thanks.

Replied by stewart on topic changing the notification email subject line
No. In back end 'options' / notifications - 'notification email to administrator' there seems to be no option to customize this email.
I would like to change the subject line to be automatically generated for fields in the registration form.
Kind regards.

So, it is for registration. ;-)

There's no backend option to customize the admin email (only user email).
But you can create an override of this string of translation : COM_ICAGENDA_REGISTRATION_EMAIL_ADMIN_DEFAULT_SUBJECT
Use Joomla core system to create language overrides, without editing a file :
icagenda.joomlic.com/docs/documentation/...joomla-administrator

Hope this helps!
