Missing automatic e-mail when uploading an event was created by euevents

The creation of new users works smoothly, BUT administrator does not receive the notification e-mail and neither does the user with its confirmation.

These are the error messages:
SMTP connect failed github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting
An error was encountered while sending the registration email. A message has been sent to the administrator of this site.

Hello,

That means an error somewhere in option...

Check if site email (global joomla configuration) is ok (you have a test button there for testing).

If ok, so then, check in iCagenda options > registration tab (if for example, not a error in custom emails options, or elsewhere...

PS. SMTP mail different than "from mail" field

hello,

So, if i have understood, the "Test" button in the global configuration of Joomla is not working ?

If yes, this is your joomla sender email which is not correctly set. Try testing with PHPMailer instead of SMTP

Thanks! Also PHP mailer does not seem to work, although this time I receive a positive message, no e-mail is arriving.

Are you on localhost ?

If yes, PHPMailer does not work on localhost.

If your on a server, so you should contact your Hoster or/and check Joomla docs if any information on why it's not working on your server (i can not say anymore the reason... related to Joomla/server/mail issue).
