[ROADMAP] JMailAlerts or getting iCagender to notify when new event is added? was created by Brittain

Hi Everyone

Anyone using JMailAlerts with iCagender?

The plugin automatically notifies users by e-mail if new articles are created. I would like it to create an e-mail if iCagender has an event added.

Or does anyone know how if iCagender can notify when a new event is added?

Hello,

I've a future pro plugin in dev status currently, that will allow this possibility. (so in the roadmap for pro versions, i think i will be able to release it before end of year)

For now, no core function to do that, and i don't know extension JMailAlerts.

We could really use that or the ability for iCagenda to e-mail out to opted in users a notification of a new event being added. JMailAlerts handles the opt-in piece and works well against articles.

And did you ask JMailAlerts developers if any plans to integrate with iCagenda ?

As i don't know this extension, i don't know (yet) the code needed to work with their api.

About email notifications, there is too AcyMailing, and they have developed a plugin to integrate iCagenda : www.acyba.com/acymailing/392-acymailing-plugin-icagenda.html

Yes I did, they didn't have any plans but did say they could provide it as a chargeable extra.

Thanks, I have had a look on their site and there is no developer information so will need to contact them.
