Hi,
I have this form here -
www.koniedworek.pl/zapisz-sie.html - where people can suggest dates for horse rides. Unfortunately, when they register an event from the front-end, the e-mail they put in doesn't show in the back-end event view. Is there any way to fix this without custom coding?
Thanks!

Hello,
Could you attach screenshot of one event with email issue, as for me it's working fine...
Which Joomla and iCagenda versions are you running ?
Did you do a test yourself ?
Best regards,
Cyril

In fact, i think all is working, but there's a misunderstanding!
The email field at top, just after Name, is the user who submit the event email's.
The email field in event "information" tab is the event contact email, not the event creator.
The email address your searching for is in even "publishing" tab.
Hope this helps ?
Best regards,
Cyril

Hi,
I checked the publishing tab - there is no e-mail there, please see the attachment. Basically yes, I want to be able to view the e-mail right after the name field somewhere in the back-end.

For the time being I have created a required custom field for the e-mail and labeled is as e-mail confirmation, but any tips towards a more elegant solution would be helpful

If the user is a Joomla user, so the email address is the registered user account email (not display in this case in the publishing tab).
But if form is public, and the person not logged-in or a visitor, so the email is not displayed... even if stored in database column created_by_email
In this case, it would be logic to see email address, so i add this to be added in next 3.8 serie currently in dev!
Best regards,
Cyril

Hey, while you're at it, I found an issue that seems to be connected - when an unregistered user submits an event, they get the confirmation that the event was submitted, but they never get the confirmation if the event was approved. At least I don't see any confirmation e-mail settings for unregistered users, only for admins and registered users. Think this might be connected? That feature would be immensely useful as well, at least for me - one less hoop for our users to sign up for horse riding lessons and get full notifications on events

Thanks!
I will check this, as i'm currently on full refactory of frontend form for upcoming 3.8 version
And if needed, will release a patch version for 3.7 serie.

Cyril
