PHP 8 - Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces in inihelper.php was created by WA2lacollada

Hola,
I'm upgrading Apache / 2.4.46 (Win64) - OpenSSL / 1.1.1h - PHP / 8.0.2 on with a Joomla site that uses iCagenda 3.7.15. And I encountered the issue "Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces" with the script inihelper.php (.. \administrator\components\com_icagenda\liveupdate\classes\inihelper.php) at lines 92, 106 and 114 where to correct this problem just replace $ line {0} by $ line [0], for example.

Hello,

Thanks for report.

In fact, LiveUpdater (developed by Akeeba) will be removed in iCagenda 3.8, and not needed in 3.7 (as integrated with Joomla updater too).

It will not affect iCagenda working as only used to check if update available for iCagenda, and you may have the message from php only when Error Reporting is turned on.

Thank you very much for this quick and precise response. I still have to wait for the iCagenda 3.8 version, which is not a problem because I have the work around and I do not plan to move to Prod (Live) before the end of June.
