Due to significantly improved performance and a modern, accessible interface, I decided not to delay the release of version 4.0 any further (it took me already more time than expected previously).

However, not all planned features are yet integrated, and also because I plan to overhaul the entire theme pack system.

That's why I haven't removed the old calendar module, so that users who were using it with a custom theme can still use it while waiting to replicate their customizations in the new calendar module.

So, this is a transitional phase.

But if you did it all with Custom CSS and custom layout, as the HTML structure is full new, you may have to redo it again, when layout for new calendar will be available in the upcoming theme pack system.

I understand that this will take time for those who have customized iCagenda, and I apologize for that.

But the calendar module hadn't been updated structurally in 10 years, and in today's web landscape, with AI bots overloading websites with requests, it was time to modernize everything. The goal is a more efficient system, better for SEO, and more stable for your website.
