Apologies for the very noobie basic question, but I can't see anything regarding it, either in the forum/documentation or in the Joomla extension itself. I have just bought a lifetime licence of iCagenda for the website I'm building for our non-profit Egyptology Society, over in Canada. That society has a number of 'Chapters' in various Canadian cities that set up, organise and control their own events. I had set up categories for each type and location of event in the initial free version of iCagenda (and I have used iCagenda in its free version for a number of years in the society's previous website (thessea.org)), but one purpose for getting the Pro version was to enable the individual Chapters to designate their own 'event manager' who could enter and edit their own events from the front end of the website without having to go into the back-end administrator side of the website, or having to go to a central administrator to add the events from the back end. I have looked and looked in the forums, website, etc., but I cannot see any information as to how I can get that to happen. So how do I create access for an 'event manager' to update the events list from the front, please? I will be creating a specific user role for 'Event Manager'. At present, if I log in to the front end as 'super admin' I can only see editing buttons for the calendar and a category menu modules.
I have seen that there may be a form required. Is this something that is available to download or is it something I have to build myself?
I am using Jooma 6.0.3 with a Gantry 5 template layout manager in our 'new' website.
Thanks for any pointers

Hi Peter,
first you have to create a new menu point in Joomla; let's say "Create Event". As menuetype choose iCagenda and something with event (I use the german translation). After that you can customize and restrict acces to a special group.
I hope it helps.

That is great. Thank you, Wolfgang (Sinswolf). I have a sidebar menu for the various categories of events on the 'Calendar' page, and adding a restricted menu option to 'Create Event' that's only accessible to the Super User and to the Events Manager(s), once they are logged in, displays the 'Submit Event' page.
So that all now works!
