Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew how to make it so that there will not be a change in the URL when we link it to iCagenda.
For example, we have a link going to "Events". It'll link to
www.website.com/events - but then it'll add some additional code to the URL and also on the event. (i.e.
www.website.com/events#.UXR0d8pBw3Y)
Is there anyway to make this not appear? Also, we want to make sure for SEO purposes that it'll index correctly than having an automatic ID be in the URL.

This "#.UXR0d8pBw3Y" is add by AddThis script.
So, if you don't display Addthis in the option, you won't have this aletory string after the url.
I've begin to work on better SEO for next release 2.1.7, and will do so, for releases after

Note: That's an option of addthis.
Can be useful if you want to track, and have statistics on sharing when you use an account on Addthis (and have a personnal AddThis id set in global option of iCagenda).
I will add an option for that in a future release.
Then now, if you want to disable this code, and use Addthis sharing without tracking, you can edit icmodel.php :
Find this :
$text.='<script type="text/javascript">var addthis_config = {"data_track_addressbar":false};</script>';
And set on "false"
Some infos about code tracking from Addthis :

As i was using default settings for Addthis, i have not yet wathed all the functions..
SO, i've done now!
In the link above, you can read this :
Note: these types of tags (called URL fragments) will not affect your SEO because they are discarded by search engines during web crawling.
