Do you have try update from the component ? (do you have refresh info before ?)
If trouble, maybe try to install 2.1.8 via Joomla extension manager.
Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.8

You have a problem of permission on your temp folder.
Try to check it via ftp, and to empty files inside it.

Set to 755 for folder
(but no change about test)
Maybe it is a version cache problem of joomla...
Can you try to install 2.1.9 available since yesterday? (try it via Joomla manager)

Just did a quick test, for some reason i can't change permissions om the files on my site anymore. and i'm positive that is the cause of all my problems, when i try to delete some files via ftp i dont have permission it says. i have opened a support ticket with my host provider.
i will get back when its sorted.

Problem Solved on my end.
It turned out that my host had updated the core files in their hosting system so all files newer than 19/4 2013 had the permissions reset to default, thus nothing is editable outside user login.
Ran a CHOWD and changed to 755 655 and now it all works as it should.
Greets
